TASHAN has been a cynosure of the eyes right from day one. It was TASHAN who brought Bebo closer to Chote Nawab and cut off from Shahid.
TASHAN is enjoying the glare of publicity from the shooting phase itself. Right from its making days, it has been known that Kareena is paired opposite Saif in TASHAN. Incidentally, it was on the sets of TASHAN that the two fell in love, and they have been inseparable ever since. The then movie stills and media talks about TASHAN's reel life pair Saif-Kareena added salt and pepper to their off-screen love story. It also gave an obvious indication that Kareena will romance with Saif (only) on screen in TASHAN.
Now looking at the latest promos of soon to be released and much-awaited TASHAN, it appears that Bebo may romance Akki (Akshay Kumar) also on screen. Trailers denote that Kareena may perhaps play a two-timer and double cross real life beau in reel life.

Not long back Kareena Kapoor hit the headlines that she is into strict diet regime to cut her size to zero to look hotter and sexier in two piece suit in Tashan. The latest about her bikini story is that she is not wearing any bikini in Tashan and the story is nothing more than a publicity stunt.
In an interview, Bebo remarks on her bikini scene that she is not wearing any sexy attire in Tashan and it is just a rumor. A person close to Yashraj films also ruled out Bebo’s bikini in Tashan and said that it is only a publicity gimmick. Kareena will only be seen in short pants. No doubt Bebo will look hot in shorts too. The running promos proved that Bebo in her new make over is looking stunning.

I was never on a drastic diet: Kareena
Kareena Kapoor has denied the report published in a Mumbai tabloid that she collapsed on the sets of Tashan owing to a crash diet.At an event to promote a hair removing cream for which she is the brand ambassador, she revealed, “I know some newspaper carried the story but I would like to make it clear that I have never been on a drastic diet.”
Explaining how she managed to tone down her body so much, she said, “I worked very hard during training. Bharat Thakur is the one person who is responsible for this. His yoga institute has completely sculptured my body and I have eaten everything the way I wished to eat.”
Agreeing that she had decided to reduce weight for the film, she added, "I had done it to get a specific look in the film but now I’m back to my normal looks and weight. I never found any need to be on diet.”
Kareena also shared her health gyaan at the event. “What helps me stay in good shape is that I’m a pure vegetarian. I don’t put non vegetarian food in my stomach to increase unnecessary weight. Moreover, on regular basis I drink 8 to 10 glasses of water and also have green vegetables and healthy food. It not only reflects on skin which glows but also strengthens your hair. Nowadays at the age of 25 you can become a diabetic so it’s most important to be healthy and see to it that your regular diet has more vitamins and minerals in it,” she concludes.
Akshay-Kareena in Shaad Ali's next
Shaad Ali, who directed the hit Bunty Aur Babli and the flop Jhoom Barabar Jhoom for Yash Raj Films, is back with a new film for the same banner.
Titled Tevar, the film is likely to star Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor.
This will be Akshay's second film with Yash Raj, after the upcoming film, Tashan. The only other time Akki worked with Yash Raj was in a guest appearance in Dil Toh Pagal Hai.
Shaad Ali showed promise as a director when he made his debut with Saathiya in 2002. Bunty Aur Babli seemed to establish that fact but his last film, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom sank at the box office.
Lets hope Tevar shows off his talent again.

Saif Ali Khan has once again experimented with his looks.First we saw the talented actor sporting a cropped haircut and stubble for his role of uncouth Langda Tyagi in Omkara . Now, Saif has grown a moustache and a mane for Yashraj Films presentation Tashan .

Chhote Nawab Saif Ali Khan and haughty Kareena Kapoor were involved in a dustup in the cool and rarified environs of pristine Ladakh where the two are on the sets of Yash Raj Films' Tashan. Both the stars were unhurt but their bodyguards ended up bruised.
The fracas started when local 'fans' attempted to enter a restaurant where Saif and Kareena were having lunch, but were stopped by their bodyguards. Frustrated the 'fans' turned ruffians and began to abuse the stars. That didn't go down too well with one of the bodyguards who roughed up one of the hecklers.
The situation quickly deteriorated and a mob gathered and began to pelt the restaurant with stones
Saif then stepped out to placate the mob but perhaps a little too late. Faced with abuses he ended up loosing his own cool and a fracas ensued.
Eventually the manager and staff brought the situation under control but not before Saif and Kareena's bodyguards received injuries in the ensuing melee.
A unit member told Mumbai Mirror, "It was a scene straight out of a film. Saif got into a scuffle with local hooligans who claimed to be their fans. When Saif and Kareena refused to meet them, they created major chaos. Saif was infuriated when they started hurling abuses at them."
Following the incident, security for the stars has been spruced up and they have been asked not to venture too far away from the unit.

However the actress clearly states “I am far from anorexic. I have lost weight for my role in Tashan.
I’ve been training to do some action scenes and hence the sudden weight loss.”The actress wants to put an end to recent speculation about having several eating disorders etc. Kareena is extremely upset with recent rumours that she is anorexic; she says “Rumours that I have supposedly become anorexic have gone completely out of hand.
I don’t want people to panic, it’s a bizarre rumour.” Kareena confirms that the huge weight loss is for a unique role in the film Tashan, but she claims that she has been having a healthy diet and working out regularly which is how she lost oodles of weight. On her diet Kareena says “I’m following a healthy diet and a regular workout regime and feeling great.” The actress claims that the secret to her losing weight is staying completely off junk food. “I’ve stopped eating junk food till Tashan gets over in November.” Kareena point blankly states that she would never starve herself and claims that actually she is a complete foodie like every true blue Kapoor in her family.
Kareena has been off some of her favourite foods like Chinese, junk food like sandwiches, noodles etc. However Kareena maintains that after the film is over in November she will gorge on junk food and get back to her healthy look, Kareena says “I promise that after the film is over, I will start eating everything. After Tashan, you will get to see a curvy Kareena once again.” Kareena’s dietician Roojuta helps her maintain a healthy diet chart and she also practises yoga, she says “I am doing lots of yoga to tone up my body.” Kareena says “I have lost five kilos and its all thanks to a healthy diet and regular exercise. Don't rub your eyes in disbelief because this is what the reports indicate as the two do this for none other than YASH RAJ FILMS.
Well, let us break the suspense here. Saif and Kareena are not literally turning into dogs but would be providing voiceovers for two dogs in the production house's upcoming animation film. Yet untitled, the film with dogs as the central characters is an Aditya Chopra production that would also see Jugal Hansraj making his debut as a director.
Now one waits to see the cute little chat between Saif and Kareena as they play some dog games out their behind the mikes!
