When Bips said no to a seducing scene

Bipasha Basu has done several bold scenes in her career so far.

So, it came as a big surprise when she was squeamish about doing an intimate Mrs Robinson-like seduction scene with Ranbir Kapoor in Yash Raj Films’ upcoming film Bachna Ae Haseeno , directed by Siddharth Anand. ( Watch )

Bipasha had to seduce Ranbir in a scene in the film, which is said to be loosely based on the Hollywood flick, The Graduate , directed by Mike Nichols (1967) and Alfie directed by Charles Shyer (2004).

While Anne Bancroft seduced Dustin Hoffman in The Graduate, Susan Sarandon seduced Jude Law in Alfi e. In Bachna Ae Haseeno , Bipasha plays Radhika, who has no apprehensions about anything and is ready go the extra mile for passion and Ranbir plays Raj, a Casanova.

Bipasha told Siddharth that she wouldnt like to enact the seduction scene. Siddharth tried to argue with Bipasha, she refused to relent. Ultimately, the scene was not shot. A source says, Bipasha wasnt told about the scene when she had signed the film.

When contacted, Siddharth said, There is no such scene in Bachna Ae Haseeno . Its a family film.” But, Bipasha said, Aha... Well, I dont wish to clarify or justify anything. If there is a story, which I would like to talk about, I will do so. But this is not one of those stories.

Numbers on side of Shah Rukh Khan for next Yash Raj flick

Shah Rukh Khan’s last hit with Yash Raj may have been last year’s Chak De, but the production house has been experiencing a dry spell ever since with all its latest releases.But numerologists predict that things will turn around for Yash Raj with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, later this year.

Yash Raj is recovering from the debacles of Tashan, Tara rum Pum, Thoda Pyar thoda Magic, Laaga Chunari..,etc so the numerologist predictions about Aditya Chopra’s next come like manna from heaven.

Numerologist Niraj Manchchanda says,” Rab Ne… will be the biggest hit of 2008. It comes to number 42 just like Dil To Pagal Hai did and that number vibrates with both Yash Chopra who is a number 9 and Aditya Chopra who is a number 3. The movie will do unheard of business and might even break records.”

Katrina to go de-glam route!!!

Quite sometime back we had this piece of information for you that Bollywood's bombshell Katrina Kaif was being considered by KABUL EXPRESS fame director Kabir Khan for his next directorial venture opposite John Abraham.

Now the 'Gaddar' boy of JOHNNY GADDAR, Neil Nitin Mukesh has also been roped in for this project. Kabir made his directorial debut KABUL EXPRESS with YRF. And now once again he would be directing this yet to be titled project under YRF banner. Reports suggest that the movie would not belong to the mainstream cinema instead based on a very contemporary & relevant subject, a strong social issue. If everything goes accordingly than this would be one of the most challenging roles for Katrina to play. Kats baby has already given her nod for the film and she is ready to take on the challenge of going the de-glam route with this film.

It is heard that this YRF production is planned to go on floors coming October for a 2-month schedule in New York.

Meanwhile Katrina is busy promoting her upcoming mega release SINGH IS KINNG.
